Grey Skies and White Cubes

I finally made it this week to the new (or now not so new) White Cube Gallery Bermondsey St.

After walking each London street time and time again, nothing provides more of thrill than that of seeing something new, something unique which stands out and pushes the city into the new rather than commercialising and stagnating it. The White Cube hit that note, this bland 70's building as been transformed into a beautifully imposing gallery full of fresh bright light and polished concrete floors in a style seen more commonly in Kreuzberg or the Meat Packing District of New York rather than home soil.

The space was jaw dropping, the exhibition equally imposing and rather than inhibiting it, the grey rain filled sky made The White Cube all the more magical.
