I came across these stools designed and handmade by Max Lamb several years ago but this is one design that I have never forgotten about. Although he did sell out slightly in selling the design to Habitat who mass produced a more angular and less romantic design, these originals are (in my opinion) breathtaking.
Formed by pouring molten Pewter into sand mould sculpted into a Cornish beach, each piece has an amazingly natural uniqueness. And the concept behind it... simple but brilliant.
